Our history
We are a third generation fruit and vegetable market trading family that has been serving local communities for over 40 years. Anthony Seekings (snr) started as a market gardener, proudly trading his home grown produce at Covent Garden. This was a huge influence on his son Anthony Seekings who opened a grocery shop in Kings Lynn in 1986 and then began market trading shortly after in 1989 trading as Pauline's, named after his wonderful wife. Later changed to Seekings fruit and vegetables and now trading as Meadow Market which is run by Anthony’s son, Scott Seekings and his family. Where they have market stalls in Fakenham, Mildenhall and Thetford.
Our goal
Our goal is to provide a wide variety of fresh, healthy and nutritious food of the finest quality that has been locally and globally sourced for customers every week.
We pride ourselves on attending our markets, and don‘t let the unpredictable English weather keep us away. Over the years we have traded in all kinds of weather conditions from minus temperatures, rain storms and the hot summers, because we know how important it is for our patrons to have access to great produce on a weekly basis.
